Commercial Director - dynamic, biotech startup

A new fantastic opportunity to grow and build a commercial team as part of a healthy biotech SME as their Commercial Director and an important contributor on the senior leadership team.

Would suit a sales and marketing rockstar who has:

Compassionate values and a love for animals

A strong track record of growing SMEs in a b2b scientific environment

Experience growing a multimillion revenue stream

The ability to lead a commercial team

Create sales and marketing strategies

It's rare to be able to make a switch from growing a b2b service company to a role where you are doing just that, whilst indirectly rescuing rabbits from laboratories

That is exactly what you will be doing here.

Working onsite, side-by-side with the scientists in the lab, you will be leading and building a kick-a$$ sales and marketing team to bring their animal-free testing to the companies making the products on our bathroom shelves and under our kitchen sinks. Having achieved fantastic success in the UK and in Europe working with some of the biggest cosmetics brands and consumer goods companies, they are now turning their attention to helping the rest of the world to discover the gains to be had from using superior, animal-free test methods.

With a scientific background/understanding and a strong track record in building and growing revenue streams globally, you will be hungry for a new challenge, and looking for a place where you can work autonomously, be accountable for your team's results and create robust growth strategies that will help elevate their method to become a globally recognised standard.

Based NW England, hybrid work (3 days a week), offering £70k (+ bonus + potential for equity)
