Electrician's Mate / Electrical Improver (Level 2) Solar PV & Battery Installations ElectriFusion Solutions Ltd – South Yorkshire & surrounding areas We're looking for a reliable electrician's mate / electrical improver to support our solar PV and battery installation teams. This is a hands-on role for someone with Level 2 electrical training who wants real site experience and progression – not someone looking to blag being a fully qualified spark. The role You'll be working directly alongside a fully qualified electrician on domestic and commercial solar and battery installs. Day-to-day work includes:
• Cable pulling, containment, tray, trunking and conduit
• Assisting with AC and DC cable runs for solar and batteries
• Fixing equipment, back boxes, isolators and containment
• Basic terminations under instruction and supervision
• Site prep, keeping jobs tidy and professional
• Supporting testing and commissioning (no signing off) What we need from you
• Level 2 Electrical qualification (or equivalent experience)
• ECS or CSCS card
• Understanding that this is an assisting role – not lead electrician
• Good attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
• Clean, respectful approach on customers' properties
• Full UK driving licence preferred What you will not be doing Let's be crystal clear:
