Dental Receptionist – Whyman House Dental Practice

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Dental Receptionist to join our well-established and welcoming team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience
  • Manage appointments, cancellations, and reminders using practice management software
  • Answer phone calls promptly and handle patient enquiries efficiently and courteously
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Process payments and assist with general administrative duties (filing, data entry, etc.)
  • Keep the reception area tidy, organised, and inviting
  • Liaise effectively with the dental team to support seamless patient care

About You:

  • Previous experience in dental reception or administration is preferred
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A friendly, professional demeanor and a genuine passion for patient care
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
  • Proficiency with computer systems and practice management software is an advantage

Details:

Practice Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 – 17:00

Part time role (4 days)

Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
