Role Overview

You'll be operating an Amada press brake, bending parts accurately and keeping production moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Amada press brakes safely and efficiently.
  • Set tooling, select programs, and adjust bend sequences.
  • Read engineering drawings and job cards correctly.
  • Perform test bends and fine‑tune angles and tolerances.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
  • Work with various materials and thicknesses.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.
  • Report defects or machine issues immediately.
  • Coordinate with fabrication, laser, and assembly teams.
  • Follow all health & safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Amada press brakes (HFE, HD, HG, etc.).
  • Understanding of bend allowances, materials, and tolerances.
  • Confident with CNC controls and adjustments.
  • Able to read engineering drawings.
  • Mechanical awareness and problem‑solving skills.
  • FLT licence is beneficial.
  • Reliable, practical, and detail‑focused.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Team player with ownership of tasks.
  • Proactive and improvement‑minded.
