We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Data Product Owner to lead data mastering efforts within the Onboarding and Know Your Customer (OBKYC) Value Stream. This role is central to optimizing customer data processes, enhancing service delivery, and aligning data strategy with broader technology and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee customer data processes and drive stakeholder engagement.
  • Investigate current systems and workflows for customer data capture and processing.
  • Understand internal customer needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define and communicate a clear data strategy and vision for the value stream.
  • Optimize data service costs using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles.
  • Develop and promote a compelling data product strategy aligned with tech strategy.
  • Translate data vision into actionable product backlogs and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to enhance data services.
  • Support delivery teams with backlog prioritization and management.
  • Use user data and success metrics to improve product performance.
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement across Business, Technology, and Operations.
  • Implement governance and policies for data quality and compliance.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all data-related issues within OBKYC.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager with a data focus.
  • Strong background in onboarding and KYC/CDD solutions.
  • Experience in systems integration or data mastering roles.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.
