About Us
At AF Bathroom and Heating, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional bathrooms, heating, and design solutions across the region. Our showroom is based in plymouth, this showcases the latest in modern and luxury bathroom design — and we back it up with expert advice, quality products, and excellent customer service.
We're expanding our team and looking for a talented Bathroom Sales & Design Consultant who shares our passion for beautiful bathrooms and outstanding customer experiences.
The Role
As a Bathroom Sales & Design Consultant, you'll take customers from their first idea right through to a fully designed and quoted bathroom. You'll use your product knowledge, creativity, and communication skills to design stylish, practical spaces that meet customer needs and drive sales.
You'll be responsible for managing your own customers, from initial consultation and design presentation to quotation and sale. Once sold the job will be passed over to the operation manager to deal with the customer throughout the project.
Home visit expectations would be 8-15 visits a week with a minimum of 40% conversion. This would require a minimum sales figure of £100,000.00 a month to be met to alling with the business targets.
Covered area would be Exeter based with travel of an hour radius for appointments.
Key Responsibilities
On the road quoting for home visits and build strong relationships through a professional, friendly approach.
Listen carefully to each client's requirements, lifestyle, and budget.
Create and present high-quality 3D bathroom designs using Virtual worlds design software.
Prepare accurate quotes and drive sales to meet and exceed targets.
Follow up on all enquiries and maintain regular communication throughout the sales process.
Keep up to date with new products, styles, and trends.
Work closely with suppliers, internal sales team and current staff to ensure projects run smoothly.
Contribute to the presentation and appearance of the showroom.
Keeping tight and accurate figures on your KPIs for key tracking.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in bathroom sales and design is essential.
Experience using bathroom/kitchen design systems (e.g. Virtual Worlds, Compusoft, EQ, 2020).
Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
Confident, self-motivated, and target-driven.
Team working.
Excellent attention to detail and creative flair.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under pressure.
Professional presentation and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Full UK driving licence required (company car provided).
