**Hours of work**

45 hours per week starting at 06:30 - Monday - Friday with some flexibility required

**The role we're recruiting for**:
You will Lead the team of drivers within a fast pace next day delivery transhipment point, driving health and safety and excellence through our service offering for our customers

**You will**:

- Checking and reviewing health and safety, proactively developing Stay Safe improvements and culture.
- Proficiency in forklift operation
- Planning and reviewing delivery routes to maximise vehicle utilisation and fuel efficiency.
- Responding to changes in resource requirements.
- Coaching and giving feedback to drivers
- Ability to make decisions quickly, flexible and logical attitude to problems - erratic volumes, vehicle breakdowns, delays.
- Have great customer service
- Have experience in delivering goods efficently and safely

**It would be great if you had**:
Previous experience in a Transport/ logistics role with a strong focus on health and safety, With the ability to motivate the team, communicate effectively and improve standards and performance.
