Salary: Up to £75,000 + 5% annual performance - related bonus
Who We Are
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Reporting Specialist to join Robert Walters as a Consultant. As an employed Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations
Who You Will Work With
Our client is global mining company, founded in 1917 in South Africa. It is the world's largest producer of platinum and a major producer of diamonds, copper, iron ore, and coal. The company operates in around 15 countries, predominantly in Southern Africa, South America, and Australia - emphasizing their sustainable practices and innovation in resource development.
What you'll do
* Contribute to the consolidation of the financial reports for the annual report, interim, and year-end results announcements while keeping the process organized, effective, and timely
* Act as a key Group Reporting contact and expert for financial reporting, HFM consolidation, and reviewer of the financial information submitted to the group reporting tool
* Work closely with Finance Systems Teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the Group consolidations system (HFM) in response to the changes in accounting standards and ongoing improvements
* Maintain a clear understanding of the policies, procedures, and systems that apply to your work and ensure compliance - raise any issues/ seek solutions when necessary
* Collaborate with a culturally diverse environment internally and externally
What you bring
* Qualified accountant
* Proven experience with HFM/ Hyperion
* Demonstrate expertise in financial consolidation and reporting in a multinational setting, including responsibility for Group-level consolidations, interim and year-end reporting, and proficient use of HFM and SAP systems
* Strong grasp of IFRS and complex commercial and technical accounting matters
* Demonstrate strong influencing skills across all employee levels, including peers and senior stakeholders
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
