Our Homes.
As an Asset Surveyor, you'll
play a critical role in ensuring the accurate collection of property data
through comprehensive stock condition surveys, Housing Health & Safety
Rating System (HHSRS) assessments, and the production of Energy Performance
Certificates (EPCs). Your insights will directly inform our 1-year, 5-year, and
30-year investment programmes and energy improvement strategies, helping us
deliver safe, sustainable homes for the future.
Key Responsibilities

* Conduct detailed stock condition surveys to assess component age, physical condition, and remaining life.
* Carry out HHSRS assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Produce EPCs in line with statutory requirements and organisational objectives.
* Collect and analyse accurate data to inform short-, medium-, and long-term investment and energy efficiency strategies.
* Represent the organisation positively with customers and stakeholders, maintaining high standards of customer care, equality, and health & safety.
More About You
* Degree-level education (or equivalent) and/or professional qualification in building, asset management, or related discipline or relevant experience.
* Strong technical knowledge of building systems, construction types, and surveying methodologies.
* In-depth understanding of Decent Homes legislation, HHSRS, and working knowledge of housing law, leaseholder consultation, building safety, and property management legislation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage complex portfolios and meet deadlines.
* Proficient in housing and asset management systems, mobile technology, and Microsoft Office.
* Membership of MCIOB, RICS, or similar professional body (desirable).
* Qualification as a Domestic Energy Assessor (or willingness to train).
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential for travel across London, Staines, Winchester, and Oxford).
