As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development across all areas.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain effective communication and teamwork within the nursery setting.
- Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions and guidance.
Skills
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of all children. If you are enthusiastic about early childhood education and possess the necessary skills to thrive as a Nursery Practitioner, we would love to hear from you
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £23,040.00-£28,131.84 per year
Work Location: In person
