About the Role

Chadwell Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly organised and committed Panel Administrator to support Cardiff Children's Services on a newly created project aimed at improving decision-making processes and achieving better outcomes for children and young people.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring permanence is achieved without unnecessary delay.

You will work within a small, supportive team, under the guidance of a supervisor, helping to deliver the project from early development through to full implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the project team.
  • Take clear, accurate minutes during meetings and produce action points promptly.
  • Track, update, and follow up on actions to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate communications between multiple professionals, agencies, and services.
  • Manage competing demands and prioritise workloads under pressure.
  • Maintain organised project documentation and records.
  • Support project delivery from planning to implementation.
  • Assist in problem-solving and facilitating effective communication across teams.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role (public sector, social care or project environment desirable).
  • Strong minute-taking and meeting-support skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Competent in MS Office and general IT systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate solutions with partners.

Training & Support

You will receive full training and ongoing coaching to help you transition your existing skills to meet the needs of the project.
