About the Role
Chadwell Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly organised and committed Panel Administrator to support Cardiff Children's Services on a newly created project aimed at improving decision-making processes and achieving better outcomes for children and young people.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring permanence is achieved without unnecessary delay.
You will work within a small, supportive team, under the guidance of a supervisor, helping to deliver the project from early development through to full implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the project team.
- Take clear, accurate minutes during meetings and produce action points promptly.
- Track, update, and follow up on actions to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate communications between multiple professionals, agencies, and services.
- Manage competing demands and prioritise workloads under pressure.
- Maintain organised project documentation and records.
- Support project delivery from planning to implementation.
- Assist in problem-solving and facilitating effective communication across teams.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role (public sector, social care or project environment desirable).
- Strong minute-taking and meeting-support skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Competent in MS Office and general IT systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate solutions with partners.
Training & Support
You will receive full training and ongoing coaching to help you transition your existing skills to meet the needs of the project.
