Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and showrooom by providing essential administrative support. This position requires strong computer skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
You will need to be self employed, and we can be flexible on times and days.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Manage phone calls and correspondence, maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and promptly
- Maintain organised filing systems and assist with clerical duties
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Xero as required
- Collaborate with team members to enhance office productivity
- Handle scheduling and calendar management for meetings and appointments
Requirements
- Previous office experience is essential, with a background in administrative roles preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks
- Previous clerical experience is beneficial
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
