About .NET Development at Propel Tech

Our .NET teams work with clients across multiple sectors, helping them get the most from their systems. Much of our work involves enhancing and extending existing applications, improving performance, reliability, and usability, alongside new build projects designed from the ground up.

You'll use C#, .NET, SQL Server, and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, and to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

As part of a small, skilled team, you'll have real ownership of your work, direct client contact, and opportunities to develop into more senior roles.

What you'll do
  • Develop, maintain and enhance software using C# and .NET across both existing and new client systems
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best practice
  • Apply sound technical judgement when designing solutions, proposing practical options and flagging risks early
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues, ensuring long-term stability and performance
  • Contribute to solution design and estimation, helping shape realistic delivery plans
  • Collaborate with your team leader, project managers, developers, and clients to plan and deliver effectively
  • Support reliable deployments and cloud-hosted environments
  • Share knowledge, feedback and ideas that strengthen team practices
  • Use your dedicated learning and development time to explore new technologies, including AI, and apply what you learn
What you'll bring
  • Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting applications using C# and .NET
  • Experience improving existing systems as well as building new functionality
  • Knowledge of web service development (e.g. WCF, Web API) and Entity Framework
  • Proficiency with SQL environments (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with Angular, React or
  • Experience with Git, Jira, and modern development workflows
  • Problem-solving mindset, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills
  • Experience in a consultancy environment (desirable)
  • Experience with WinForms or WPF (desirable)
Our process
