An exciting opportunity has become available for a Part-time Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our well-presented private practice The Independent Dental Practice in Middlesbrough

What do we look for in our Dental Nurses?

We welcome your application to our Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications (experience in Orthodontics isn't necessary):

• Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
• Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
• A positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues
• Passionate about building great relationships with patients and colleagues, and providing exceptional standards of care

As a vital team member of our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality dental services.

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
• Provide chair-side support, including handling instruments and materials during procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the dental team to create a positive and welcoming environment for patients
• Assist in taking and developing dental x-rays as needed
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with the latest dental techniques and technologies
• Fully support your team

Qualifications

GDC Registration

National certificate or NVQ 3 in dental nursing is essential.

Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.20-£13.70 per hour
