Responsibilities:

  • (IMPORTANT: The applicant selected for this role will cover shifts both as a Senior and as a Care Assistant. The preference will be to fit in all Senior shifts available, however you may be required to do some Care Assistant shifts to reach your desired weekly hours).

  • Provide personal care and support to residents

  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Administer medication according to prescribed schedules

  • Assist with feeding

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up

  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed

  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is required

  • Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families

  • Compassionate and patient demeanor

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions

  • Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
