We are now seeking an exceptional Head of Finance Business Partnering & Internal Reporting to join our high-performing finance leadership team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to influence strategic planning, build financial capability across our schools, and help shape a resilient future for the Trust.

About the Role

As our Head of Finance Business Partnering & Internal Reporting, you will lead our Finance Business Partnering function, ensuring Headteachers, senior leaders and Trustees have the clear, insightful financial information they need to make confident decisions.

You will:

• Lead and inspire a talented team of Finance Business Partners
• Provide meaningful analysis, forward-looking insight and constructive challenge
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and internal performance reporting across the Trust
• Drive value for money, innovation and sustainable resource planning
• Strengthen financial capability and collaboration across school and One trust Services teams
• Support Trust growth, due diligence, and the onboarding of new schools
• Work closely with the CFO to shape strategic financial plans and deputise when required.

You will be:

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong management accounting and performance analysis experience
• A confident communicator, able to translate financial insight into meaningful action, and deliver exemplary customer service to our key clients (schools)
• An experienced business partner, comfortable influencing leaders at all levels
• A compassionate and empowering line-manager passionate about developing others
• Driven by collaboration, curiosity and a desire to make a positive difference.

Experience within education, public sector or multi-site organisations is beneficial, though not essential what matters most is your ability to engage, improve and lead.
