We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Associate - Healthcare Assistant with Primary Care experience to join our small, friendly team.

Working hours across up to four mornings per week, job share considered.

Working within our multi-professional team of GPs, ACPs, MSK Physio, Mental health practitioner, Nurses, HCAs and GP Assistants, offers a diverse and interesting opportunity. We value the daily clinical catch-ups, where the clinical team are able to reflect on patient care over a cuppa.

The role is stimulating and varied and there will be training and CPD opportunities for the successful candidate.

Working under the direction of the lead nurse, strictly in accordance with specific Practice guidelines and protocols, the Healthcare Assistant will assist the clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Care Certificate
  • NVQ II in Health and Social Care
  • Essential: Certificates in Phlebotomy, wound care and measurements, B12 and immunisations.
  • Desirable, experience undertaking NHS health checks, learning disability health reviews, smoking cessation

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£15.43 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 22 per week
