18Players are a fast-growing, full-service creative agency specialising in sport.

We offer a range of digital and print content services including contract publishing, web design and development, web hosting, brand development, graphic design, video production, copy writing, animation, PR, social media and campaign management.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work with some of the UK's biggest sporting organisations, brands, venues and governing bodies – as well as with National Club Golfer and NCG Top 100s, our in-house consumer golf brands.

You will pay a key role managing social media accounts for our clients as we expand our team to meet a period of growth.

Responsibilities

As our Social Media Editor, you will play a key role in ensuring that we deliver brilliant content for our clients.

You will report to, and work on a day-to-day basis with our Account Director and Marketing Manager, as well as the rest of the 18Players team, the NCG team and, of course, our clients.

On a day-to-day basis you will be:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create engaging content tailored for different platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and customer inquiries; respond promptly to maintain positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives.
  • Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in social media management.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience in social media management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to create visually appealing content using graphic design tools or video software such the Adobe Suite, Creator Studio, and video editing tools Premier Pro.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to track performance metrics across various platforms.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for staying current with digital marketing trends.
  • Knowledge of golf is essential.

The Package
