The Team
The role will join the Safety team, providing strategic and operational leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Mundipharma's global governance framework for Case Management and Safety Systems. You will be responsible for driving an integrated strategy that ensures efficient, compliant, and future‑ready management of global safety operations. Through strong governance, innovation, and cross‑functional collaboration, this role strengthens Mundipharma's safety infrastructure, ensuring that safety systems and case management effectively support business objectives and regulatory expectations.
 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, design, and execution of a comprehensive operational governance structure for Global Case Management and Safety Systems to meet current and future requirements.

  • Align governance principles with Mundipharma's global safety strategy, regulatory obligations, and business priorities.

  • Drive the delivery of an end‑to‑end process for case management, ensuring timely and high‑quality case handling both locally and globally.

  • Lead the strategic deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of global safety systems to ensure seamless integration between case management operations and safety technology platforms.

  • Advance safety data analytics capabilities to optimise proactive signal detection, performance monitoring, and regulatory intelligence.

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and digital innovation within safety systems infrastructure impacting global and local case management.

  • Benchmark against industry trends and best practices to maintain Mundipharma's leadership in safety excellence.

  • Strengthen enterprise‑wide understanding of safety compliance risks and ensure effective mitigation options are implemented and communicated.

  • Monitor evolving global pharmacovigilance regulations and ensure systems, processes, and governance structures remain compliant.

  • Drive continuous improvement and readiness in preparation for audits and inspections.
     

What you'll bring

  • Degree educated, with minimum 10 years' experience.

  • Sound understanding and experience of the global pharmacovigilance landscape.

  • Excellent management skills to deliver company and departmental goals efficiently and effectively.

  • In‑depth knowledge of GVP, ICH guidelines and Safety Systems validation requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively across the organization, with strong ability to build relationships internally and externally.

  • Strong organisation and problem‑solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent collaborator with strong stakeholder focus.
