Overview:Hays is proud to be working in partnership with a local council to recruit an experienced Project Support Officer (PSO) on an interim basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful work within the Early Intervention and Prevention team, supporting the delivery of key programmes that make a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide cross-programme support across multiple workstreams.
  • Assist the Programme Manager with day-to-day project coordination and delivery.
  • Maintain and update project documentation including implementation plans, RAID logs, and other PMO tools.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
  • Monitor progress and help ensure project milestones are met.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Project Support or PMO role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with local government or public sector environments is desirable.
