Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Receptionist and Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all HR processes run smoothly. This role is crucial in maintaining effective communication within the team and assisting with various HR functions.

Duties

  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all employee records are up to date.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining HR documents.
  • Utilise QuickBooks for payroll processing and financial record-keeping as required.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring the HR department is well-equipped.
  • Provide clerical support by answering phone calls and responding to inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and training sessions for new hires.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating orientation sessions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within Human Resources or a related field.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite and other office software applications.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
  • Familiarity with clerical tasks and office procedures is essential.
  • A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration is highly valued.
