Job Description

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have enterprise experience developing and maintaining IaC (terraform). Deploying containerised microservice to AKS using ArgoCD, using GitHub Runners.

As DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include among others:

  • Create new and maintain existing GitHub Action running on self-hosted runners
  • Work with development teams deploying micro services to k8s clusters
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure)
  • Maintain several AKS clusters that make up the Internal Development Platform
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Cloud hosted DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineer role or related field
  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, with demonstratable ability to deliver secure network infrastructure through zero-trust principles
  • Strong understanding of use of encryption techniques (GPG / TLS certificates)
  • Strong experience with writing and refactoring Terraform
  • Strong Linux administration using WSL2
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes

Desirable skills

  • Strong knowledge of Authentication and Authorisation approaches using Azura Entra
  • Strong knowledge GitHub Actions
  • Strong Bash scripting and experience maintaining configuration yaml files
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki
  • Experience with package management tools such as NuGet, Maven, or npm
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
