What will you be doing We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have enterprise experience developing and maintaining IaC (terraform). Deploying containerised microservice to AKS using ArgoCD using GitHub Runners.As DevOps Engineer your responsibilities will include among others:Create new and maintain existing GitHub Action running on self-hosted runnersWork with development teams deploying micro services to k8s clustersManage and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure)Maintain several AKS clusters that make up the Internal Development PlatformImplement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirementsAutomate repetitive tasks and processesQualifications : To be successful in this role you should:5 years of experience in a Cloud hosted DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineer role or related fieldExperience with Azure cloud infrastructure with demonstratable ability to deliver secure network infrastructure through zero-trust principlesStrong understanding of use of encryption techniques (GPG / TLS certificates)Strong experience with writing and refactoring TerraformStrong Linux administration using WSL2Experience with containerization and orchestration tools Helm Docker and KubernetesDesirable skillsStrong knowledge of Authentication and Authorisation approaches using Azura EntraStrong knowledge GitHub ActionsStrong Bash scripting and experience maintaining configuration yaml filesExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana or LokiExperience with package management tools such as NuGet Maven or npmStrong communication and teamwork skillsAdditional Information : As a colleague here at Evelyn Partners you will have access to benefits that include:Competitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependant)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings representative of society and our clients.
