Due to continued growth we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Multi Disciplined Project Manager, the role requires a strong individual, with good team management skills and client relationship experience.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of our projects from handover to completion. You will lead the planning, delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction of allocated projects, ensuring Health & Safety and our high standards are maintained across all aspects of work.
You will supplement the existing team of Project Managers in the effective project management of allocated projects within the following disciplines:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Electronic Security, intruder, CCTV, Access Control.
- Network Infrastructure, Cat6, Cat6a, Fibre.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities are to:
- Perform a technical evaluation of the project. Complete a technical review and carry out cost plans of all allocated projects.
- Project Planning & Delivery: Lead projects through all phases, develop plans, manage resources, and resolve operational issues.
- Engineer Management & Leadership: Direct and support engineers, set clear expectations, review performance, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Recruitment & Hiring: Assist in identifying resource needs, participate in hiring, and support onboarding.
- Commercial & Financial Control: Manage project budgets, track costs, approve variations, and ensure profitability.
- Compliance, Health & Safety & Quality: Ensure all works comply with industry standards, risk assessments are completed, and documentation is accurate.
- Communication: Serve as the primary client contact, lead meetings, and provide updates on project progress.
- Resource Management: Plan engineer schedules and monitor productivity.
- Reporting & Systems: Maintain project information in our Business Management System and provide regular performance reports.
- Project Close-Out & Handover: Ensure snagging is complete, deliver client handovers, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Proven project management experience in Fire & Security, Electrical, or Network Infrastructure
- Experience leading or managing teams of engineers
- Strong understanding of technical standards and industry regulations
- Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable:
- Industry-specific accreditations
- Experience using Simpro or similar project management systems
