Dance Instructor

Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. Must have IDTA teaching qualification or another well known dance association qualification. As a Dance teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your love for dance and inspire students of all ages and skill levels. This is a paid position with opportunities for career growth.

Duties:

• Deliver engaging ballet and tap classes to Pre School children
• Plan and deliver dance lessons in various styles such as ballet, jazz,tap
• Teach proper dance techniques, including posture, alignment, and coordination
• Choreograph dance routines for performances and teach syllabus work for IDTA exam entries.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to plan events and performances
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in the dance industry

Qualifications:

• IDTA or other well known association teaching qualification
• Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of various dance styles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with students of all ages and skill levels
• Patience and enthusiasm for teaching dance
• Ability to demonstrate dance moves and techniques effectively
• First Aid certification
