We're seeking a
Programme Manager
in
London
to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for one of our long standing UK Managed Service retail client

  • please note, this is an initial 3-6 month inside IR35 PAYE Umbrella contract that will require onsite working in London 2 days per week.

Summary
As a Programme Manager for our long-standing retail client, you will lead a Programme, which is a critical initiative to strengthen infrastructure and respond to recent challenges. Your expertise in managing complex projects, driving teams to success, and navigating ambiguity will be instrumental in delivering this transformative programme.

You Will

  • Lead a team of professionals to plan, execute, and monitor the Programme
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery
  • Collaborate with senior-level stakeholders, providing them with regular updates and demonstrating gravitas
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, addressing challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Inspire confidence and drive progress, while maintaining a technically savvy but not overly technical approach
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders

Ideally, We'd Like

  • Extensive experience as a seasoned Programme Manager, with a proven track record of leading complex, high-impact initiatives, ideally in a retail organisation
  • Excellent project management skills, including expertise in risk management, budget control, and dependency management
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of ambiguity, with a proactive and adaptable approach
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers
  • Technical proficiency, but not necessarily a deep technical background, as the focus is on programme leadership
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and drive progress
  • Relevant education, such as a degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position.

This is a temporary employee (PAYE) opportunity working via an Umbrella company.
