We are open over the Christmas period, we won't be expecting everyone to work Christmas day, however, if you need a week or so off over Christmas, we won't be able to offer that.

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. We are a Gastro Pub that offers floor service so the job role isn't exclusive to bartending.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages during service hours.
  • Engage with guests to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere, promoting positive guest experiences.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service policies to ensure guest safety and minimise risks.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a hospitality setting, particularly within bars or restaurants, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to the hospitality industry is essential.
  • Demonstrable skills in serving drinks efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders during busy periods effectively.
  • Experience in time management to ensure prompt service and smooth operations during shifts. This role offers an engaging environment where your hospitality skills can flourish, providing valuable experience in a fast-paced setting while ensuring guests enjoy their time at our venue.
