Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive bar and hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of pub operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
  • Supervise staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated and professional team.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies across all departments.
  • Manage inventory levels, procurement, and cost control measures to optimise profitability.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth culinary operations, including supervising food presentation and serving standards.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to uphold excellent guest experiences.
  • Maintain a clean, organised environment aligned with hospitality industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the venue's offerings and maximise revenue opportunities.

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within hospitality setting.
  • Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example while fostering a positive working environment.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including serving practices and customer service excellence.
