The Role
As a Junior Event / AV Technician you'll support our technical team in the preparation, setup, operation and breakdown of event and installation work. You will learn all parts of the job — from warehouse prep and testing, transport and logistics, through to on-site event delivery and AV installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, operation and strike of audio, lighting, video and staging systems at live events.
- Help load/unload our vehicles, transport equipment to site, and maintain a tidy and safe warehouse.
- Prepare and test equipment ahead of events.
- Work on site under the supervision of senior technicians, helping the team deliver.
- Learn about and assist with permanent AV installations and servicing.
- Travel across the Highlands (and occasionally further) for events.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required.
About You
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Motivated, hands-on and physically fit; you enjoy problem-solving and being part of a team.
- Keen to learn and develop your skills in the event/AV industry.
- Good communication skills and a reliable, organised approach.
- Flexible to work evenings/weekends and travel across the Highlands.
- Desirable: any exposure to sound, lighting or AV equipment (even in school/hobby context). Qualifications like PASMA/IPAF/PAT are a bonus but not required — training will be provided.

- Salary of £24,500 – £28,000 DOE for a 40-hour week.
