Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA)
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire (Central Postcode: LN5 7EX)
Salary: £105 - £110 per day
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant in or around Lincoln?
We are looking for passionate SENTAs to fill vital roles in welcoming local primary and secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within supportive academies committed to providing outstanding education for all pupils.
You will be ideally located to support schools within leading local trusts and academies across Lincolnshire.

This role is perfect for candidates based in or near Lincoln city. As the county's main transport hub, Lincoln provides the best bus and rail links for commuting to our various partner schools, even those in more rural parts of the county.
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of needs (such as ASD, EBD, MLD, or PMLD).
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHC (Education, Health and Care) plans.
- Fostering an inclusive, positive, and safe learning environment.
- Helping pupils build confidence, develop social skills, and achieve their full potential.
- Being a patient, resilient, and reliable presence for the children you support.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, specifically with children with Special Educational Needs.
- A strong understanding of different SEN requirements.
- Patience, empathy, and the resilience to handle challenging situations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- (Desirable) A relevant qualification, such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
