We are now looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, welcoming experience across our food and beverage operations.

The Role

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of all F&B outlets across the site — including our café, bar, events, and hospitality functions. You'll lead by example, ensuring great service standards, operational efficiency, and a positive, team-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the daily management of the bar, and event operations.
  • Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with staff rotas, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Support with stock management, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of functions and events.
  • Help drive sales and profitability through excellent service and efficient operations.

About You

You'll have a passion for hospitality, great people skills, and the ability to lead by example. You'll be reliable, organised, and keen to contribute to a community-focused venue with a strong sense of purpose.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in food & beverage or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a busy environment.
  • Basic understanding of stock control and cash handling.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events.

Desirable:

  • Experience in golf, leisure, or community venues.
