Summary

Come and join a growing, fast paced team at Lynwood & Co in the Cotswolds. We are seeking a talented Night Baker to join our team at Lynwood & Co. In this role, you will be responsible for Baking delicious baked goods that align with our values of quality and generosity. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing our café experience and delighting our customers. This role would require the shift to start between 6 and 8pm, depending on the needs of the business, and would last approximately 8 hours. 28 Days per year holiday, food on shift, great team, hiring due to business expansion. An established team means this role is rewarding and fulfilling.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
  • Ensure all food safety standards are met while handling ingredients and preparing food.
  • Collaborate with daytime bakers to maintain efficient food production schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area and kitchen.
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Experiment with new recipes to enhance the menu offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a passion for baking and creating delicious products.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
