IC Resources is looking for a Freelance Structural Analyst to join a growing team, focused on critical engineering challenges. You'll deliver technically advanced projects, develop internal capability, and support client relationships across highly regulated industries.

This is a long-term contract opportunity.

In this role, you will

  • Lead and deliver structural analysis projects, including stress, durability, and fracture assessments
  • Contribute to business development by engaging with clients, writing proposals, and representing the team at conferences
  • Advance analysis methods and tools using ABAQUS or ANSYS

What You'll Bring

  • Understanding of structural mechanics, fatigue, fracture, and contact modelling
  • Expertise in FEA and experience extending simulation tools
  • Experience mentoring others and delivering high-quality technical outcomes on time and on budget
  • Ideally, chartered status
  • Competent user of Python
