Laboratory technician
to join their team based in
Bristol, UK.
Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Carrying out testing on soil and samples according to standard test methods
• Recording accurately the test data produced for analysis
• Maintaining a neat and orderly laboratory environment

Person Specification

• Previous geotechnical testing laboratory experience or have an interest in a career as a laboratory technician
• Organised and methodical
• Team player
• Strong communication skills
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and sample containers weighing up to 20 kg and if required to stand for short or long periods

We regularly work on projects across the UK and internationally, serviced by a desk-based department working from offices in Bristol, Castleford, Coventry, Glasgow, Hemel Hempstead, Wigan, Plymouth and Tonbridge.

Structural Soils works with a vast number of clients from wide-ranging industries, both private and public. A client may seek advice on house subsidence, or a multinational energy company may require our help in constructing power stations. Our industry-renowned expert staff offer technical, logistical and contractual advice on all aspects of ground investigations. Our technical staff include civil engineers, geologists, engineering geologists, chemists and environmental scientists.
