Site Foreman

For a new site based in Coleraine although travel across multiple sites in Northern Ireland will be required.

The Role

You will perform a pivotal role in the success of all projects, responsible for scheduling, co-ordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives, ensuring that all work is delivered safely, on time and within budget, along with managing equipment and materials required. Health and safety on site is prioritised.

Typical Duties could include:

  • Take responsibility for Health and Safety on site
  • Forward planning ability
  • Identify materials and equipment that may be required
  • Organise workers tools, machinery and materials
  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring work is carried out accurately and safely, following plans and specifications as well as adhering to the required quality standards
  • Train and induct new employees
  • Maintain detailed and accurate site reports
  • Communicate project progress to the relevant personnel as required

You will need:

  • An appropriate Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card, SMSTS preferred.
  • A thorough understanding of Building Regulations and best practice
  • An understanding of Health and Safety
  • First aid at work certs (3 day as a minimum)
  • Experience supervising and leading a large Construction Team
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets
  • Own Transport

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
