Arable Farm Worker - Warwickshire -Basic Salary Circa £25,000

Job Description:

​We are seeking a General Farm Worker to join an Arable Farm in Warwickshire. The ideal candidate will have PA1 and PA2 certification, as well as a Telehandler certificate. However, full comprehensive training will be given to the right candidate.

The Candidate:

• Spraying crops using a self-propelled or trailed sprayer.
• Carting grain from combine harvesters to storage areas.
• Undertaking cultivations using a range of machinery.
• Operating seed drills to establish crops.
• Spreading fertiliser using a variety of spreaders.
• Providing combine relief work during harvest.
• Operating a telehandler to move materials around the farm.
• Undertaking irrigation duties to ensure crops receive adequate water.
• Cutting hedges to maintain field boundaries.
• Any other ad hoc work as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on an arable farm, and will be comfortable operating a range of machinery. They will be able to work independently or as part of a team, and will have a flexible attitude to working hours.

The Package:

Although there is no accommodation provided with this role, the successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary of up to £25k per annum.
