Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Nursery Practitioner role based in London. The Nursery Practitioner will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment for children, planning and delivering activities that promote development, and ensuring the well-being of the children in their care. They will also support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework, maintain accurate records of children's progress, and liaise with parents to keep them informed about their child's development and day-to-day activities. Collaboration with colleagues to uphold the nursery's ethos and standards is an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge in early years education, child development, and working within the EYFS framework
  • Skills in planning and delivering creative and educational activities tailored to young children
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with parents, caregivers, and colleagues
  • Ability to provide a bilingual approach is a plus; willingness to engage with a bilingual environment is essential
  • A passion for nurturing children's learning, well-being, and overall development
  • Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a valid pediatric first aid certificate
