We are looking for a highly organised, experienced, self-motivated, reliable, efficient and proactive Production Shift Manager to join our team.

The Role:

To lead the team and ensure the processes are optimised in achieving all the parameters relating to quality, cost, delivery, safety, engagement and environment. (QCDSPE).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Continually monitor the staff and processes to ensure all are working to the required standards of effectiveness and performance.
  • The achievement of all Operational targets for your area of responsibility.
  • The use of the correct resources in an efficient and effective manner.
  • To ensure that all production schedules are followed and are achieved.
  • At all times ensure health and safety practices are adhered to.
  • Instil the highest levels of motivation and work satisfaction within the staff.
  • To achieve the specified quality standards at all times.
  • To ensure the working area meets all site GMP standards.
  • Ensuring the environmental standards are employed at all times.
  • Consult, research and implement actions to improve the production processes. Proactively looking at ways to improve on quality, cost, delivery, safety, engagement, and environment. (QCDSPE).

Person Specification:

  • Experience leading a team in a food manufacturing environment is essential
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, leading and managing a team and environment to repeated success
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to communicate effortlessly with stakeholders at all levels with the ability to influence decisions
  • Logical thinker; a natural problem solver
  • Highly motivated and assertive, with a nature drive for personal and team achievement

Additional Information:

This is role continental shift pattern 12-hour rotational shift (7am to 7pm). One week you will be working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the next week you would be working Wednesday and Thursday, and so on although a degree of flexibility is required depending on business need.
