Business Development Manager – Clean Tech Products

Banbury (office-based, with occasional UK travel)

Circa £40,000–£45,000 + commission

A well-established clean technology business in Banbury is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across its sustainable, technical product range. The company has an excellent reputation, a strong existing portfolio and a warm pipeline of opportunities to develop.

The Role

  • Engage with customers across construction, facilities management, property, manufacturing and other private sector markets
  • Qualify and develop warm leads, arrange onsite product demonstrations and manage the sales process through to close
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through a consultative, relationship-led approach
  • Generate new opportunities through sector knowledge, networking and attendance at relevant industry events
  • Support tender activity and project bids where required
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction

About You

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally with technical product or clean tech product exposure
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, confident on the phone and able to convert qualified interest into results
  • Experience managing full sales cycles from lead generation to close
  • Tender or project-based sales experience would be an advantage
  • Comfortable with occasional, ad-hoc travel to client sites or events
