Salary: £32-35k + commission + Company Car
AEC is looking for its next Business Development Executive to join our sales team. This role would suit a true hunter, someone who will go out there to find business, whether it be by phone, email, social media or face to face. This role would suit someone from a true consultancy background who is used to building long term relationships to gain repeat business from longstanding clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Sales Development: Identify and generate new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients in the field, on the telephone and via web.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, articulating the value proposition of our products/services.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of company products/services and industry trends to effectively communicate value to clients. (1st class training provided)
- Territory Management: Manage and prioritise sales activities in your designated territory and cross business markets to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Reporting & Administration: Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager regarding sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, leads, and sales opportunities in the CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing and resources, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Experience: Ideally, at least 1-2 years of experience in a Business Development role
- Background: Sales experience within a consultative industry
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs
- Self-Motivation: A proactive and goal-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a collaborative approach to achieving sales goals
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Driving License: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory
