Location: Woodlands Primary Academy
Salary: Scale F, sp 12-17 £28,598 – £31,022 (Actual £21,938 - £23,798)
Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed-Term
Working Pattern: 33 hours, 39 weeks
About You:
Woodlands Primary Academy is seeking a skilled and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to play a key role in enriching the learning experience across our school. You'll take ownership of agreed learning activities within a structured framework, planning, preparing, and delivering sessions to individuals, small groups, or whole classes. With your experience, initiative, and proactive mindset, you'll be a valued partner to both pupils and staff - helping to create a dynamic and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- GCSE English and Maths, Grade 3 minimum or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in working as a teaching assistant or equivalent
- Experience in working with young people
- Good understanding of child development and learning processes – including behaviour management techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
