About the Role
Are you a caring, reliable person who loves helping others live comfortably at home? We're looking for a friendly and experienced live-in carer to provide personalised support and companionship.
This role is self-employed, so you'll have flexibility and independence while making a real difference in someone's daily life.
What You'll Be Doing
- Helping with personal care – washing, dressing, grooming, and more.
- Supporting medication routines safely.
- Cooking meals that suit the client's tastes and health needs.
- Offering companionship, chatting, and encouraging hobbies or activities.
- Keeping the home tidy and comfortable with light household tasks.
- Assisting with mobility, making sure your client moves safely.
- Going along to appointments or outings when needed.
- Keeping an eye on health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes.
Who We're Looking For
- At least 6 months' experience in hands-on care (live-in or domiciliary is ideal).
- Self-employed with a UTR number.
- Friendly, patient, and empathetic, with great communication.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and organised, able to work independently.
- Enhanced DBS check (or happy to apply).
- Right to work in the UK and professional references.
