Live-In Home Care Assistant – Self-Employed Role

Skybod Healthcare Ltd is seeking compassionate and reliable live-in home care assistants to provide personalised one-to-one care and companionship for clients in their own homes.
This self-employed role allows you to deliver individualised, person-centred support, helping clients maintain independence, comfort, and wellbeing. It's perfect for carers who value flexible, meaningful work with a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming)
- Support medication routines and daily health needs
- Prepare meals and help with light household tasks
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and safe movement
- Accompany clients to appointments, walks, or social activities
- Monitor and report any changes in wellbeing
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' hands-on care experience (live-in or domiciliary)
- Self-employed with a valid UTR number
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
- Right to work in the UK and professional references
- Naturally caring, professional, and reliable
- Bonus: NVQ Level 2/3 or First Aid qualification
