Customer Service Advisor (Automotive Parts)

£30,000–£33,000 DOE + Bonuses

Located Biddenden, Kent - Full Time

Hours: Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:00 (early finish)

The R129 Co ) is a 15-year-old independent Mercedes-Benz specialist supplying used and new OEM parts to 70+ countries and running a growing workshop for modern-classic Mercs.

We're looking for a friendly, switched-on Customer Service Advisor to be the first point of contact for our customers and our trusted representative. You'll help identify parts, support sales enquiries, follow up leads, and provide exceptional aftersales care in a fast-growing modern business. This is not a call-centre role; you'll work closely with our small internal team in a pivotal position.

What you'll do

  • Handle incoming calls, emails and messages
  • Help customers identify the correct parts - even from symptoms (training provided)
  • Make outbound calls to follow up leads and abandoned carts (not cold calling)
  • Create bespoke orders and tailored shipping quotes
  • Coordinate dismantling requests with our technician
  • Keep customers updated on courier issues and deliveries
  • Handle aftersales, returns and warranty queries calmly and professionally, even when customers are stressed
  • Think on your feet and handle new situations confidently

What we're looking for

  • Solid experience in a front-facing customer service or sales role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Clear, friendly phone manner and customer-first mindset
  • Able to learn EPC diagrams and vehicle systems quickly (automotive interest ideal, prior experience a huge bonus)
  • Organised, calm under pressure, confident with online tools, comfortable typing quickly while talking

  • You have your own vehicle and valid driving licence
  • (We are not accessible by public transport)
