Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as required.

Duties

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Load and unload items, ensuring that all packages are handled with care.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including any necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organisation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
  • Must be flexible and be able to adapt to business needs .
  • Must have flexible attitude starting / working times starting times .
  • experience driving Luton vans vehicles is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required during deliveries.
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
