Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House shift manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling pub. The successful candidate would be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the pubs front of house operations during their assigned shifts. This is a hands-on leadership role, vital for ensuring exceptional customer experiences, managing a dynamic team and maintaining a safe, profitable environment in a fast paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front of house operations during shifts, ensuring a seamless and hgih qiality customer experience from arrival to departure.
  • Ensure the venue is clean, safe, presentable and fully operational at all times, conduct regular inspections and addressing and maintenance issues promptly.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures including securing the buidling and setting/unsetting alarms.
  • Liaise effectively with the kitchen and back of house staff to ensure smooth service and communication of any special requests or menu changes.
  • Lead, motivate and supervise the front of house team, leading by example to ensure high standards of service and performance.
  • Assist with staff training and development, providing ongoing coaching and constructive feedback.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, reconcile daily takings and produce accurate financial reports at the end of each shift.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, manage inventory, handle deliveries, and place orders.

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
