Join our passionate Italian restaurant team at PRIMO

We're looking for an experienced Waiter/Waitress with a warm personality, excellent customer service skills, and previous hospitality or restaurant experience.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous restaurant or café experience (essential)
  • Knowledge of drinks preparation (wines, cocktails, coffees)
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest care
  • Fluent English, with Italian speaking a strong plus
  • Must have the right to work in the UK

Charminster, Bournemouth

Shifts:

Evenings & weekends – part-time or full-time options available

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling of all food items
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
  • Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high-quality service

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
  • Basic maths skills for bill calculation and cash handling
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
  • Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£15.64 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 37 per week
