Job Description

What will you be doing?

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Management team in London, which is responsible for building & developing trusted relationships with clients, providing wide-ranging support and assistance with the management of client portfolios.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain senior level exposure, be client facing and work alongside an experienced and hi-profile IM partner who is dual expert (Investment management & Financial Planning). You will be part of a dynamic and fast paced team where you will get the opportunity to learn & develop quickly from senior leaders.

As Associate IM, your responsibilities will include among others:-

• Looking after and supporting client needs, assisting with the management of client portfolios including dealing, in line with your competency status
• To assist in preparing for client review meetings and provide support as required, Undertaking basic analysis as required
• To assist with presentations, investment proposals and pitches as required
• Ensure comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times and in line with Group policy
• To strive for no complaints and where they are received ensure that they are raised with the Client Resolution team in a timely fashion and assist in bringing them to a satisfactory resolution
• Understand the sector, providing appropriate recommendations, based on a wide range of resources and actively participate in regular meetings, taking ownership of actions, and working in conjunction with other sector specialists. Construct materials as determined within the sector teams to support analysis and communication to Investment Managers

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you should:-

• Have the ability to deal with new and existing clients
• Understand the financial services industry and investment market
• Experience of working within an investment management environment
• A strong ethic of client and customer service
• Ability to work well in pressurised environment and prioritise work
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal & strong numeracy & analytical skills

Professional Qualifications and Education

• Holds a relevant level 4 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 7) and maintains an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing
