Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fitness and wellness, with a focus on teaching Pilates techniques to individuals of varying skill levels. This role requires an understanding of anatomy and the ability to coach effectively, ensuring that all participants receive a safe and beneficial workout experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging Pilates classes for groups and individuals, adapting sessions to meet the needs of participants.
  • Provide clear instructions and demonstrations of exercises, ensuring proper form and technique are maintained.
  • Assess clients' fitness levels and tailor programmes accordingly to promote progress and improvement.
  • Maintain a supportive and motivating environment that encourages clients to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest Pilates trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance teaching methods.
  • Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained before and after classes.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, providing feedback and encouragement throughout their fitness journey.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in teaching is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to movement and exercise.
  • Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognised institution is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • A commitment to personal fitness and wellness, demonstrating a healthy lifestyle.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required by class schedules.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £25 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
