The Laird's Table, on the Craufurdland Estate in Fenwick, is currently seeking a Kitchen assistant for our busy restaurant.

Hours of business M-F 9am - 4 pm, Sat & Sunday - 9 am - 5 pm

Tuesdays and Fridays 5pm -9.30 pm

Limited evening work.

Duties will include:

  • Keeping the kitchen to a high standard of cleanliness, washing of dishes, pots and pans via dishwasher and by hand, and overall maintaining this busy kitchen environment.
  • Clean food prep areas and equipment, in addition to crockery & cutlery.
  • The ability to work as part of a busy, fast paced team.
  • Ensure all kitchen cleaning and prep work is done promptly.
  • Help with food prep.
  • Serve desserts.
  • Ensuring stock deliveries are stored correctly and rotated.

Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude.

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage. The rate of pay quoted is for over 21's.

Due to the location of The Laird's Table, public transport isn't always easily accessible.

Job Type: Permanent
